Szabad Szoftver Konferencia

The 1st Szabad Szoftver Konferencia took place on 31 October 2009 at the IT building of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) in Budapest, Hungary. Without any big announcements, the event had about 450 visitors. The Szabad Szoftver Konferencia (Hungarian for "Free Software Conference") was held as successor of the former Ubuntu conferences. As parts of the conference, which was organized by the FSF.hu foundation, took place in parallel to the exhibition, every visitor was able to find an appropriate occupation. Experienced Linux users as well as newbies had the opportunity to participate at 30 lectures and workshops.
